Mr. Lipschitz works with the eminent domain and tax appeals practice groups. The eminent domain practice group provides representation in cases involving governmental acquisition of real property, including roadway access, relocation assistance and environmental remediation of properties being acquired. Mr. Lipschitz has tried eminent domain cases to verdict in the Superior Court of New Jersey and has obtained favorable results at numerous Commissioners’ Hearings.
As a member of the tax appeal practice group Mr. Lipschitz represents taxpayers and municipalities in litigated matters before the Tax Court of New Jersey and the various County Tax Boards.
Since joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Lipschitz has also represented corporate, governmental, and private clients in matters relating to real property litigation, collections and employment disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lipschitz was the Senior Articles Editor for the Rutgers Law Review, served as a student-attorney for the Rutgers Constitutional Litigation Clinic, and served as a civil mediator for the New Jersey Superior Court in Essex County.
