Mr. McCullough joined the firm in 2002 following a clerkship in the New Jersey Appellate Division with the Honorable James J. Petrella, P.J.A.D. He is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College (now Saint Peter’s University) in Jersey City, New Jersey, and Seton Hall University School of Law.
Mr. McCullough’s practice is primarily focused on civil litigation in both state and federal court. He has handled complex matters including shareholder oppression, business valuation, will contests, partnership disputes, property boundary disputes, breach of contract and restrictive covenants, employment discrimination, new home construction defects, and private nuisance cases. He has also represented clients in eminent domain cases and local land use challenges. Mr. McCullough has handled matters from preparation of pleadings, through discovery, dispositive motion practice, and trial.
In addition, Mr. McCullough has extensive experience representing clients in appeals. He has handled a variety of matters including, for example, business valuation, condemnation, land use matters, and enforceability of arbitration clauses. Mr. McCullough has argued before the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Many of his cases have been reported.
Mr. McCullough also represents clients before local land use boards for site plan approval and variances. He has also handled real estate matters for clients, including seeking and obtaining land use approvals for clients (including obtaining federal, state, and local permits), and drafting real estate contracts, employment contracts, and commercial leases. Mr. McCullough represents clients involved in municipal financing transactions, including as counsel to issuers, underwriters, and trustees, and as bond counsel.
Mr. McCullough has a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Committee on Character since 2008. He is currently the President of the Hudson County Bar Association.
