Mr. Guanci joined the firm in 2015 as part of the tax appeal practice group. As a member of the tax appeal group, Mr. Guanci represents taxpayers, as well as the municipalities of Ridgefield Borough and Parsippany-Troy Hills Township in litigated matters before the Tax Court of New Jersey and various County Tax Boards. Mr. Guanci has argued before the Tax Court of New Jersey defending taxpayers in Chapter 91 motions, Freeze Act Applications, and other related tax matters.

Mr. Guanci also represents apartment building property owners throughout the State appealing one percent realty transfer fees, (N.J. Mansion Tax), imposed upon purchases in excess of one million dollars with the New Jersey Division of Taxation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Guanci worked in the legal department of a major real estate and development corporation focusing on both litigation and transactional aspects of commercial real estate law. Since 2017, Mr. Guanci has been on the board of the Young Lawyers Division of the Hudson County Bar Association, currently serving as Vice President.

Mr. Guanci is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law. During his years at law school, he interned with the Honorable Peter V. Ryan of the Superior Court of New Jersey. He also interned with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
